Nursery to Preschool

We are passionate about our commitment to help parents lay a spiritual foundation that their child can build his or her life upon – and our exciting programs accomplish exactly that!

From our Early Bird Baby Bible Class to our Fun on the Farm (for 3 year olds), followed by our Kidz with Character (for your preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade aged child), your little ones will journey through God’s Word, learning age-appropriate Bible stories and lessons that will help them well into their elementary age years and beyond. With puppets, songs, crafts, Bible verses, and stories, your children will be pointed in the direction for their success.

We also provide a nursing mom’s room, so you can enjoy bonding with your baby yet still be a part of the service.

Child Dedication

Parents of new babies and young children attend this one‐session class in preparation for dedicating their children to the Lord. The class will answer common questions regarding the child dedication, keeping your child on the path toward greatness, parenting advice, the role of parents, and scriptures on parenting.

Elementary

“Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.”

Children today are exposed to and expect much greater stimulation in their learning activities. What we "grown-ups" experienced in church, when we were children, is not sufficient to capture the mind, heart, and attention of today's child. That is why we have incorporated great opportunities for both socialization and learning in our program for elementary school children.

The morning starts with opportunities for children to make friends by playing board games in a supervised setting. Children’s Church then kicks off with our live Children’s Church Praise and Worship Band, complete with children and youth singers. Games, puppets, drama, media, and illustrations keep children on the edge of their seats, as they learn God’s Word during this service!

Wednesday evenings provide Character Club, where students can make friends and learn from trained teachers in age-appropriate settings. In this nurturing environment, children learn even more about how God wants to help them in their everyday lives.

Junior High

“Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor Him in your youth…” (Ecclesiastes 12:1, NLT).

We are committed to equipping our youth with the tools they need to develop godly relationships and to put God first in their lives. Additionally, we provide a wealth of opportunity for your youth to belong (a critical need at that age) to various ministries, where their skills and God-given talents can be developed. These ministries include Drama, Dance, Worship, Choir, Helps Ministry, Puppets, or Prayer Team.

Everything we do is age-appropriate, so your 12-year-old will not be paired with a 19-year-old. Our topics are relevant to the youth experience, so that we can better equip our teens to apply biblical principals to overcome the challenges they face every day.

Once your youth experiences the various youth ministries at FHC, they will actually ask you to bring them back for more – and that's a blessing in itself! Join us!

92nd Ave

Are you a teenager with a potential for greatness and a taste for life? Or maybe you are a parent in search of a godly environment where your young person’s destiny can be birthed and his/her unique, God-given gifts can be developed? The 92nd Ave program was designed and developed by Dr. Robb Thompson to impact every teen and his/her family.

92nd Ave is an age-specific program, where teens are trained in life-shaping principles according to the Word of God. This dynamic curriculum establishes the 5 most pertinent foundational blocks upon which a great life is built. These 5 basic blocks include Spiritual Enhancement, Character Building, Relational Ethics, Personal Development, and Training in Human Behavior.

In addition to the 92nd Ave program, the School of Performance (SOP) gives your youth the opportunity to be part of an exciting ministry outreach team. Our SOP teams include:

Drum Line
   A drum team that plays professional routines, using marching band drums
Hearts of Passion
   A modern dance team that utilizes dance (ballet, interpretive, jazz) to create performance routines
Drama Team
   A creative group that specializes in comic and theatrical drama skits
Step Team
   This team creates cultural urban step routines and combines it with a dance-like performance style

Choir

Through the power-packed 92nd Ave training program and School of Performance, teens are equipped with the tools necessary to achieve personal growth and pursue their purpose in God’s plan!
